It's getting serious now, folks. I wonder if they even hold it at all this year. The whole PGA tour schedule is disrupted. The entire Augusta course changes with the weather. For one thing all the shrubbery and the flowers will look different. The bloom will be over just like Cherry Trees in Washington, DC that only last about week before the flowers fall off. Augusta does have a way of artificially making them look the same. I think they use some kind of freeze solution to keep the flowers intact but you can tell on TV they don't look natural. If The Masters is rescheduled your asking another tour event to cancel their's. Then you would be playing to close to the PGA Championship. What are you going to do. Play two majors in two consecutive weeks. I think the best solution is just cancel all events and whenever the PGA tour starts again it starts. The remaining schedule would be intact. You would just look at The Masters as being cancelled like it was during World War II.

There are dozens of events throughout the year when only the second tier pros play. Have the masters on one of those weeks. It will hurt viewership of the existing tourney but the field will probably only lose a few players (which will get taken by alternates getting a crack at the big leagues).

If the money thing is an issue to the second tier tourney, have the Masters give some money to help subsidize the prize money.

It is better than no masters at all
